God Didn't Build That

Posted on 2:33 AM by Unknown

With the Big Bang Theory, we have given ourselves the ability to look up at the sun and moon and stars and tell God "You didn't build that!", and then go on our merry way believing that the celestial bodies are the result of random processes and not the work of the Creator's hands.

With the Theory of Evolution, we see every sort of seed-bearing plant, the trees that grow seed-bearing fruit, the swarms of fishes and other life in the waters, every sort of bird, the livestock, the small animals that scurry along the ground, the wild animals, and tell God "You didn't build that!"  We even deny our own creation by His hands, saying "You didn't build me!" and go on our merry way.

But we fail to realize that with this belief in random processes we have become purposeless ourselves.  Our only reason for existence becomes survival, which makes it hard to follow commands like "love your neighbor as yourself" when you believe that you are in direct competition with your neighbors.

In a universe that created itself, evil becomes a permanent part of nature instead of being ultimately resolved by the Creator.  So even though we are now told to place our hope in man, there really becomes hopelessness in life.

How can we believe the Word of God is true if we are taught that its very beginning, the account of creation, is not?  The Bible becomes allegory, mere guidance, that we can follow or reject as we see fit.  We can then do what is right in our own eyes and follow a god of our own design and comfort.

We are prodded to continue moving forward hoping that these theories are correct, where "forward" insinuates that we are progressing and moving in the right direction.  We hope that we are correct, because if we are not, there is a God, a Creator of all things, who will judge us at the end of our days, and that is a frightful thought.

But these theories support Satan's style, for by believing them we begin to reject the authority of God our Creator.  I would rather not give him that pleasure.
The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world. (Psalm 19:1-4)
(Some content taken from Genesis 1, Judges 21:25, and Mark 12:31.)

America's King

Posted on 8:59 AM by Unknown
"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, Religion and morality are indispensable supports.  ...reason and experience both forbid us to expect that National morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle." --George Washington in his Farewell Address
After America gained its independence from Britain, many people called on the hero of the American Revolution, George Washington, to be their king.  He refused, instead accepting the honor of becoming the nation's first President.  Whether consciously or subconsciously, Washington probably knew that the majority of the American people already had a king--the Eternal King--Jesus Christ.  No man, not even George Washington, could ever sit in His place.

The Declaration of Independence and Constitution do not refer specifically to the God of the Bible, however upon close examination and study it is clear that our nation's founding was based on His Word.  For example our founders referred to the Creator in several places--a Creator that is not Allah, or Buddha, or some pagan god, but clearly the Christian God.  Because the majority of Americans acknowledged God as their Creator and Jesus Christ as their Savior, our form of government can function properly as designed.

The United States government as described in our Constitution can be viewed as a caretaker government until the King returns.  That government is designed to be run by humans to manage normal human affairs and to protect the nation from external threats while giving maximum freedom to the general population to choose their own ends and for most to follow the direction of their King, Christ.  Without faith in God, personal ends have a greater potential to become evil.  George Washington appreciated this fact as evidenced by this portion of his Farewell Speech:
"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, Religion and morality are indispensable supports.  ...reason and experience both forbid us to expect that National morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle."
We must acknowledge that none of us are perfect nor can be...Christians included.  But if we as a nation keep our eyes on our Savior, our point of aim, then we are headed in the right direction in spite of our error and sin.  But if we were to remove our gaze from that point of light and instead rely exclusively on ourselves or other men to determine our ends and how we get there, then we have a serious problem and our form of government will no longer be effective.  It will be undermined by those who seek another path, and the threat they pose to the People will only increase as more and more eyes are turned away from Christ.

At its creation our nation gave deference to Jesus Christ as the King of the people.  During our time, there have been louder and louder calls for Him to abdicate His throne.  Let it be known that Christ will never abdicate His throne.  However we as a people can choose to reject Him as our King and guiding star for the ship of state.  Evil forces in America are laboring to make this happen, and have achieved much success.  Unless something is done to reverse this trend, such as a national Christian revival, we as a nation are on a pathway to bondage and doom.

For without Christ as the King of our people, we will seek another to replace Him, and it will be found in our human government and its human leadership.  God help us when that day comes (is it already here?).

As for me, Christ will be the King of my life, my family, and my house.

This Christmas season I ask you: In whom do you place your faith and trust?  Is it yourself?  Is it the government?  Or is it God?

The Case for Intelligent Design

Posted on 4:56 AM by Unknown
"All sciences begin with speculation; only Darwinism routinely ends with it."                         --Michael J. Behe
Against All Enemies recommends you read "Darwin's Black Box: The Biochemical Challenge to Evolution" by Michael J. Behe.  In this book, Behe discusses how advances in science over the last few decades have shed light on the inner workings of the cell, or what he refers to "Darwin's Black Box." Behe calls it a "black box" because when Darwin devised his theory of evolution, the cell could not be understood by the science of the time and had to be treated as a "black box."  Now that we can understand the processes and structures within a cell, the author believes that what we have discovered points directly to intelligent design.

Here is the author's summary of the argument for intelligent design:
"Here, then, is the argument for design in a nutshell: (1) We infer design whenever parts appear arranged to accomplish a function.  (2) The strength of the inference is quantitative and depends on the evidence; the more parts, and the more intricate and sophisticated the function, the stronger is our conclusion of design.  With enough evidence, our confidence in design can approach certitude.  If while crossing a heath we stumble across a watch...no one would doubt...that the watch was designed; we would be as certain about that as about anything in nature.  (3) Aspects of life overpower us with the appearance of design.  (4) Since we have no other convincing explanation for that strong appearance of design, Darwinian pretensions notwithstanding, then we are rationally justified in concluding that parts of life were indeed purposely designed by an intelligent agent."  ("Darwin's Black Box," page 265)
Behe uses the examples of the cilium, how blood coagulates, and the synthesis of AMP to support his argument.

Read the book and judge for yourself.

The Filth Emanating from Hollywood

Posted on 7:01 AM by Unknown
"The name of the game right now is compromise.  Meet in the middle to get things done.... According to the Bible, when that happens, we're no longer standing for anything. We are no longer on the side of the Truth....  You're either hot or you're cold.  We're in almost a period of the Laeodician Church.  We need to pick our side now....  If you're going to be for the world, be for the world.  Don't be doing so much harm being half in and half out.  You're harming yourself and those others who might actually want to know the Truth.  Choose ye this day whom you will follow."  (Angus T. Jones, ~11:30 mark, Part 2 Video)
As Curtis Bowers accurately lays out in "Grinding American Down," the Left's (Communists) agenda is to undermine America's Judeo-Christian culture in order to replace its government with a humanistic, collectivist one (which corresponds with Satan's goals).  The Left correctly understands that our religion and morality are necessary for the success of our nation.  They must remove the guiding star of the Word of God in order to replace our form of government with a tyrannical one.  One of the many ways they have sought to do this is by taking over Hollywood, which they have done quite effectively.  That is why we see such filth emanating from there today.  That filth is intended to assist America in turning away from the Word of God.

I like to divide entertainment media into three categories: meat, sugar, and poison.

Meat is the media that glorifies God, supports the Christian worldview, and strengthens your faith in God.  There is very little meat being produced in Hollywood.

Poison is media that encourages sin, perversion, carnality, depravity, and a worldview that is in direct contravention to that communicated to us by God through his revealed Word.  Poison rots your soul, weakens your faith, and pulls you away from God.  It is a direct replacement for what is provided by the Word of God.  I would contend that a majority of what comes out of Hollywood today is poison, and it is by design.

Sugar is neither meat, nor poison, but does not glorify God and cannot satisfy the longings of the soul by itself.  Therefore, if you do not balance sugar with a good helping of meat, you will continue to consume sugar until you move to poison to fill the emptiness in your soul.  Hollywood is very adept at disguising poison with a heavy dose of sugar to make it more palatable, so one must always be vigilant when consuming "sugar."  That vigilance comes through knowledge and study of the Word.

And now the testimony of Angus T. Jones of "Two and a Half Men."  At the 7:40 minute mark in the Part 2 video below, Jones describes to the Forerunner Chronicles how he realized that "Two and a Half Men" was disseminating filth.  I think he's onto something.  Christians should never apologize for exposing the evil of the world, the flesh and the Devil, if their analysis is grounded in the Word.  Hollywood needs more...a lot more...people like Jones to speak out against the immorality being intentionally peddled by Hollywood to destroy our nation.  Here are some quotes from his testimony:

"I'm on 'Two and a Half Men' and I don't want to be on it,” [Jones] said. "If you watch 'Two and a Half Men,' please stop watching it and filling your head with filth. People say it’s just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch." (source)
"You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that." (~9:50 mark Part 2)
Choose ye this day whom you will follow."  (~11:30 mark, Part 2)

Contemplating the Future After the Election

Posted on 4:46 PM by Unknown
Friends,

As a boy, I greatly admired the leadership of Ronald Reagan.  I watched him take an heroic stand against the evil ideology of communism, and his example was one of the main reasons why I joined the military to defend our great nation and its people.  It was a nation that rewarded achievement, protected individual liberties, and stood against the evils of the world.  However, I see a very different nation today than the one when Reagan left office.

After Tuesday's election, like many of you, I stood bewildered.  How could the people I defended all these years vote for the very ideology that I picked up a rifle to defend against?  Honestly, I cannot say I was surprised by the outcome.  However, I am deeply disturbed by what it said about our country and its people.

I have spent the last several days searching my soul for the right path to take following the reality that became apparent on Tuesday.  I have reached out to the Internet, my friends, my family, my pastors, and most importantly God and his Word.  I have been internally conflicted, bouncing back and forth from considering extreme defiance to peaceful submission.  However, neither extreme sat well with me.

Considering those calling for extreme defiance, there does not appear to be a legitimate reason to follow this course.  I believe we would be fools to secede or take up arms against the government at this point, for they hold the power of coercion and are most likely waiting for action from homegrown "terrorists" or "separatists" to silence them--permanently.  The question then becomes, at what point do citizens need to take up arms against their government?  Frankly, I cannot answer that at this time, but now is not appropriate.

Peaceful submission would mean the tacit acceptance of evil.  However, I cannot be complicit to legalized murder, the celebration of immoral behavior, or the government acting outside the rule of law.   Should I choose submission, I would be acknowledging the victory of Satan and become complicit in his actions.

Instead, I have found different ground.  With the coming darkness resulting from man's belief in a multitude of lies, there will be Americans who will be looking for the light of Truth to escape such darkness.  We Christians must be the light of Christ in the world.  We must demonstrate how Christians live the Word amidst extreme adversity by loving each another, caring for our neighbors, and spreading His Word.  Only through the Word of God can we fight against the darkness.  Any solution that lacks God's Truth will only bring more suffering.

We as followers of Christ must stand up for what is right in our families, schools, churches, cities, states, courts, and the nation.  We must defend our rights under the Constitution.  We must never compromise Truth and Liberty for Lies and Tyranny.

Finally, some declare that we are quickly approaching the End Times as prophesied in the Bible.  Perhaps they are right, but I do not know.

What I do know is that Americans needs God.  Only if Christians read the Word, pray, and live by the Word will America have any hope.  If America is now under divine judgment for its wickedness and depravity, it has certainly earned it.  However, this does not mean we need to run away from the problem (to the point of fleeing the United States).  We need to put on the full armor of God, proclaim His Truth, and confront evil.  We should be more concerned with the soul next door rather than whether or not America is going to survive as a nation.  For by saving the people, we could save the nation.

There is no victory without God.

Honor God.

America Holds Its Breath

Posted on 2:52 PM by Unknown
On this Election Day, America collectively holds its breath.

On one side, we have a segment of the populace who desire government to provide them with all their needs.  A segment who wants to be free from personal responsibility.  A segment who wants to be free from any presence of the Christian God in the fabric of our nation.  A segment who desires our nation to be more like the rest of the world.  A segment who believes that the ends justify the means, an ends that is nebulous and undefined, but just known as "hope."  A segment who justifies murder by claiming protection of individual privacy and right to personal choice.  A segment who believes that speech should only be free if it supports the desired ends.  A segment who deals with evil by legalizing and normalizing it.  A segment that believes truth comes from man and our rights come from the government.  A segment who sees a crisis as an opportunity to obtain more power

On the other side, we have a segment of the populace who desires limited government so that individual liberties are protected.  A segment who believes that each citizen is responsible for his/her actions.  A segment that believes that the Christian God is an essential requirement for the fabric of America. A segment that believes in the sovereignty of our nation.  A segment who believes that the way we do something is as important than the ends we seek to achieve.  A segment who believes that the right to life is not trumped by a right to privacy.    A segment who believes in the right to free speech, even if we may find that speech hateful or repulsive.  A segment who confronts evil.  A segment who believes that truth and rights come from our Creator.  A segment who sees a crisis as a call to do the right thing

These two positions are at their very core irreconcilable, and the emotions of both camps have been extensively whipped up by their respective leaders.  Opponents have been dehumanized and portrayed as "zombies" worthy of eradication.  Fear and hate are palpable in America.

How did we get here?

America failed to abide in our Constitution and in the Creator of heaven and earth.  We failed to safeguard the form of government and liberties it provides, having neglected our duty as citizens of this nation.  At our founding, We The People were sovereign.  But we have stood by while our government has steadily taken it away from us.  We have believed that through human effort our government can make a more perfect society.  We have convinced ourselves that America could not become like Nazi Germany or Rwanda where citizens commit mass murder and atrocities against their fellow citizens.  We have therefore sat idly by, sedated and distracted with music, movies, sports, and medication pretending that there is no problem, and if there is a problem, it will sort itself out.

As a result or our indifference, leaders of both parties have been guilty of taking us down a very dangerous path.  Both parties have involved us in unnecessary wars.  Both parties have bankrupted our nation by increasing our national debt to the point where it may be mathematically impossible to repay.  Both parties have passed legislation that infringe on our liberties.  Both parties have sought ways to circumvent the Constitution--and succeeded in doing so. Both parties have worked to undermine the sovereignty of our nation in favor of globalism.

Is our government doing things to us, or for us?

If We The People do not change the course of our nation quickly and restore our sovereignty, we may never be able to.

But are we already be too late?  George Washington instructed us that our nation depends upon morals and religion to function properly.  Without these two elements, it is doubtful that our Constitutional Republic can survive.  Have our morals already become so debased, and God removed so completely from our thoughts and actions, that our republic can no longer function as designed?  Perhaps we should just accept that our debauched culture now needs a dictator to keep it in line.  Perhaps we should rejoin the culture of the rest of the world, the very same world that many of our forefathers rejected by leaving everything behind and coming to an America where they could be more free.

After America, there is nowhere left to go.  Once America's freedom is gone, that's it.

We Americans, as every people of the world, get the government we deserve.  What kind of government do you think we deserve?  If it's not what you see now, then get out there and work to change it.  Wake up, pull your head out of the sand, contemplate our situation as a nation, and act.  Your life and your children's lives depend upon what you do this day, and every day after.

The bottom line is this: the battle for the future of America is not in Iran, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen or Libya.  The battle is in America.  Put on the full armor of God and march to the sounds of the guns.

Karl Marx Wanted to Destroy Mankind

Posted on 12:41 PM by Unknown
"Seeing that for the Socialist man all of so-called world history is nothing other than the creation of man through human work, than the development of nature for man, he has the incontestable proof of his being born from himself.... The criticism of religion ends with the teaching that man is the supreme being for man." -- Karl Marx
Karl Marx was deeply disturbed and did not have the best interest of humankind in mind.  His desired end was more in line with that of the devil--turn humans away from God and lead them to destruction.  What follows is from Richards Wurmbrand's book "Marx & Satan."

"We see this clearly in Marx's poetry. In "Invocation of One in Despair" and "Human Pride" man's supreme supplication is for his own greatness. If man is doomed to perish through his own greatness, this will be a cosmic catastrophe, but he will die as a godlike being, mourned by demons. Marx's ballad "The Player" records the singer's complaints against a God who neither knows nor respects his art. This emerges from the dark abyss of hell, bedeviling the mind and bewitching the heart, and his dance is the dance of death." The minstrel draws his sword and throws it into the poet's soul.

In his poem "Human Pride," Marx admits that his aim is not to improve the world or to reform or revolutionize it, but simply to ruin it and to enjoy its being ruined:
With disdain I will throw my gauntlet
Full in the face of the world,
And see the collapse of this pygmy giant
Whose fall will not stifle my ardour.
Then will I wander godlike and victorious
Through the ruins of the world
And, giving my words an active force,
I will feel equal to the Creator.
Marx adopted Satanism after intense inner struggle....

The overriding reason for Marx's conversion to communism appears clearly in a letter of his friend Georg Jung to Ruge: it was not the emancipation of the proletariat, nor even the establishing of a better social order. Jung writes:
If Marx, Bruno Bauer and Feuerbach associate to found a theological-political review, God would do well to surround himself with all his angels and indulge in self-pity, for these three will certainly drive him out of heaven...."
From Richard Wurmbrand's "Marx and Satan," pp. 30-1.
